Bleed Esports Enters Competitive Dota 2 With JaCkky and DuBu

After days of teasing its entry into the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC), Singaporean organization Bleed Esports finally announced its Dota 2 roster for the 2022-23 season. In addition to recruiting some of the finer free agents from Southeast Asia (SEA), Kim “DuBu” Doo-young also joins, marking his return to the region, following three years in North America. Additionally, a rather unknown midlaner from Singapore, Teng “Kordan” has also been announced as the midlaner for the team. In the upcoming Winter Tour of the DPC 2022-23, Bleed will acquire T1’s slot in Division 1.

Bleed Esports announces new Dota 2 roster

“The Kingsmen have arrived,” Bleed wrote on Twitter as it welcomed its new Dota 2 team.

The following players make up Bleed Esports’ Dota 2 roster:

  1. Souliya “JaCkky” Khoomphetsavong

  2. Teng “Kordan

  3. Natthaphon “Masaros” Ouanphakdee

  4. Prieme “PlayHard-” Ejay Maque

  5. Kim “DuBu” Doo-young

Bleed stated on 11th Nov that it will be entering competitive Dota 2 by employing caster Sean “Hades” Goh as its scout, and a lineup has been completed a month later under the tutelage of SEA veteran Lee “Forev” Sang-don.

The most exciting addition to Bleed’s new roster is Kordan, an emerging pubstar from Southeast Asia. He has made a reputation for himself by consistently ranking around the top of the SEA MMR Leaderboards, and he is now ranked second, just behind Talon’s Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon. With his professional debut taking place in SEA’s top tier, it will be interesting to see how he performs.

As his core partner, he will be joined by JaCkky, a player who was in a similar situation a couple of years ago but managed to grow into one of the top SEA carry players. His last team was BOOM Esports, which won several regional events as well as the GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022. BOOM finished 9th-12th at The International 11.

Bleed’s offlane will be manned by Masaros and PlayHard-, two players who have had brief success in the past with different teams. This season, the two will look to step up their game since they have not been in the best shape lately.

The most experienced player on the roster, DuBu joins at position five. He joins after a mixed season with TSM in which the team performed extremely well at times and failed miserably at others. It is likely that DuBu will assume the responsibilities of a team captain.

With the acquisition of T1’s spot, Bleed will be competing in Division 1 of the SEA DPC 2022-23 Winter Tour against the likes of Fnatic, BOOM, Talon, and more.
