LEWISTON — After a diner concluded his food at Legends Sports Bar & Grill on Saturday night, he quietly requested a server to incorporate all of the open tabs in the cafe to his invoice — then still left a $1,000 tip, more breathtaking the staff members.
He slipped out before other diners could thank him.
“In reality, they will not even explain to me who he is,” Legends proprietor Melinda Little said Tuesday. “They mentioned, ‘We manufactured a promise that we would not share his identification because he asked to continue to be anonymous.’ I’m like, ‘I’m the operator,’ and they’re, ‘Nope, we produced a guarantee.’”
Saturday was a stormy but bustling night, she claimed. The guy was getting evening meal with a single other human being and their monthly bill arrived to about $50 when he manufactured the uncommon request to server Taylor Ryan.
